The Chilterns

The Chilterns, located NW of London, is a living, working area of beautiful countryside. It's character has been shaped by agriculture, industry and the people who have lived and worked here over the centuries. Once the larder of London with its historic market towns, tucked-away villages, pubs, farmland, chalk-fed streams and ancient woods all hint at the growing, trading and of course, enjoyment of good local food and drink. The Chilterns have over the centuries retained these characteristics and, because of the area having a distinctive landscape with special qualities of national importance, The Chilterns today is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
